Thankfully, it looks like it's based on the classic Dell/Gold Key adventure comics from the 1950s and not the 1990s "Turok: Dinosaur Hunter" Valiant material (those were okay for the time, I guess, but the whole "cyborg-dinosaur" thing just doesn't stand up to the classic pulp adventures of the original Son of Stone books), or worse, the only tangentially-related video games.

Hopefully the DVD becomes successful and leads to other animated features based on lesser known non-superhero comic book properties (I'd love to see a Judge Dredd or even a XIII animated feature).
