Anybody else catch this?

I thought it was really good.  A ton of comics/pop culture references, solid plot, clever dialogue, good acting.

I'm going to have to find the comic this is based on now.  But I definitley reccomend checking out the show.

It's on ABC family so you know they'll be rerunning it time and again.

We need to get more people watching ... they cut the episode order, and prospects for next season look dim barring a massive ratings increase.

I personally love the show... but that probably doomed it from the beginning (see Wonderfalls and Dead Like Me)..  heck I only found it because of a link about the actress in the show and hardly have seen any ads for it outside of the network that it's on.

Hopefully if ABC Family doesn't renew the show next season then maybe Sci-Fi Channel might pick it up.. they saved Sliders from a premature death maybe they can save Middleman from being lost before it finds a large enough fanbase to keep the ratings up.

More like they used better-left-unknown dark arts to prop it up in a sembelence of non-death, while it rapidly degenerated into a twisted mockery of what it had once been, finally forcing it to flee the light of the sun, whereupon a collective sigh of relief was breathed.  ;)

I've liked what I've seen of Middle Man, but I am on a bit of a tape delay (haven't had time to catch up on the past two weeks of tv).  It would be nice if it were saved, but considering which channel it's on, I don't hold out much hope.  I just don't think it was a right fit for that particular cable channel.....just a little too wierd for their typical viewers.

Not to mention way too adult, at least in some ways.  Yeah, I like the show, but never saw how in the world it ended up on ABC Family.  It shouldn't be their in the first place.
