Origin Captions doesn't appear?

Freedom Force, 1.3beta , whether I've turned on Origin Captions or not, it won't appear during Secret Origin cutscenes. Problem is my english is not native and could use a little help, besides, IMO captioning fits the Comic style.

another issue: After finishing off a thug, my hero seems just stand there and take beating. How to set him to "aggressive" stance?
