I saw that there was no Yahoo Group for Gni's meshes. His website has been stable for a long time now, but he hasn't updated since 2003. In the event of his site closing, we would lose some of the greatest meshes ever made for Freedom Force. I took it upon myself to create a Yahoo Group for his works. I've uploaded all of his Meshes, Skins, and Hexes with images in the photo albums to help with navigation. I also uploaded his extra keyframes, wireframes, the hexed meshes from FX Force and my own Gni Versatile Skopes.

Hopefully we'll never need this resource, but now Gni's legacy is secure. (As secure as yahoo groups can be.)
Similarly I saw that dozens of Lord Ehmsidy's meshes and skins had not been backed up to either of his yahoo groups. I uploaded the remaining works along with preview pics to his second Group. Since his work is hosted across multiple Geocities sites, and Geocities is to close in the near future, I found it very important to secure his legacy as one of our great meshers as well.

I've about some of meshes that don't appear on any of his Geocities pages, such as a Mars Attacks mesh. Please take a look at his websites and see if you have something that's missing.

Thanks a lot for doing this :)
Lord Emshiddey and Gni have both created some facinating and unique meshes. I am glad that steps are being taken to preserve them.
how do we download from gni's site?i joined but theres no way to download.
Sorry about that Hero Dad, I had the group set to Moderators only on downloading as well as uploading. Since there shouldn't be any new content, and I didn't want to risk spam, I locked it down. Looks like I went too far. Seems I did the same thing for my own yahoo group, but nobody noticed that one. Anyway it's fixed now.
actually i did notice your yahoo lock down and thought i did something wrong.thanks for the fix on both!
I wonder if it would be worthwhile to back-up some of the older Freedom Force websites onto Yahoo groups?
For example, Freedom Asylum lost a ton of stuff when it went down.
I wish someone would have done that with Unfluffy Bunny. It had some good, interesting stuff, but its all gone now. Same with Dragonforce, etc.
