....Request.  Here comes another perennial request of mine.  I'm looking to put the finishing touches on the TMNT mod's first story arc, and to do that, I'd really love to have a set-piece mission where the Turtles are confronted with the Technodrome.  I am really hoping that some skopers/skinners or meshers might be willing to give this a shot.  All I need is an object mesh, so it doesn't need any animating.  In fact, I wonder if we might be able to skope a mesh together out of existing objects.  Here's the thing itself:

You'll notice that the most important pieces of the design are the fact that it's a big sphere, has treads, and an eyeball on the top.  All of the texturing of the skin, the guns, and all the little boxes and such aren't important.  We could really just imply texture with a skin.  Come on guys, now that FR is back, do we have any takers?

Awesome!  I do think that it can probably be cobbled together in a skope, and I bet you can do it, what with all the neat stuff you've been doing lately.  It should be a bit larger than building size, maybe the size of the opera house, for example.

On a related note, could someone create a brown, rocky texture for me that would fit on pat_bldg_yellow?

As for the rocky texture, B...Try using the blitz_Rock_wall.tga texture.

Amazing Dana!  That was ridiculously quick!  That looks fantastic man.  I can't believe you've whipped that up so quickly OR so well. :D

Thanks...I can't promise the sphere section will look exactly like it does in the pics, but I'll do what I can (updated photo below).

Okay, BG...Here's a size comparison to Alchemiss, is it about the right size (ignore the pink parts, I'm trying to fix them)?

I also have a bit of an issue with it...It's immaterial.  Alchemiss can walk right through it...I'm not sure what the problem is (it has a bounding box..Maybe it's too big?), but I'll keep looking into it.

It really is amazing.  I can't believe how great that looks!  That is definitely the right size.  Haha, just look at that thing.  It definitely is imposing enough to get the point across. 

It's strange that it is immaterial, but if you can't figure out a way to fix it, I should be able to write around that problem.  I think I can set the mission up where the Turtles won't actually touch the Technodrome, but will need to move to a point nearby.  I am so excited about this!  I'm going to have to throw these next few missions together as soon as I can!

I've noticed this ghost-effect with a few objects I've put together from various game bits...Like I said, It has a bounding box and that covers most of the object.  It's also currently set as a character.  I don't get it.  I'll keep at it.

BTW:  The pink parts were because I misnamed a texture.

Wow, Dana, the details on that Technodrome look amazing.  And you've done it all in such a short amount of time too!
