Title: Is there an easy way to make an "aura"...
Post by: daglob on July 29, 2017, 04:05:36 AM
...I'm working on something and thought I could figure out a way: I duplicate the main mesh, flipped the faces, and tried to make the flipped mesh bigger. I increased the size, and I tried scaling the vertices. Neither has worked.

Is there a stencil in the mesh you could delete? That helps out with alphas maybe.

No, I was using Grenadier's female mesh; no stencils. The main problem is the proportions of the mesh. I had thought if I scaled the vertices the "aura" mesh would retain the positioning on the  center line of the limb. Instead, there is a drift away from the center of the mesh, which was part of the problem just enlarging the "aura" mesh.

Anybody? I've been taking apart meshes with auras, and I still have no idea how to do it.
