Ahh, so many great characters.  I suppose my favorite is probably Man 'O War.  The Ant is probably my number 2.

I have a soft spot for Minute Man, at least partially because the first game is in many ways his story.  He is certainly cheesy, but that's part of what makes him so much fun.  And yeah, Tombstone is just awesome.

Haha, I created an FF universe mod, along with some other folks, and whenever I was working with Mentor, I found myself saying "RINGS OF REXSOR!" and generally talking in his voice.  It was great fun.

SA, ha!  :D

There was an old mod for :ff: called 'The Great Hunt' that teamed Martian Manhunter, Human Torch, and Wolverine up with Minuteman.

I distinctly remember Wolverine complaining how that there is somehow somebody more long-winded than Reed.

I've been thinking since I saw this thread, and I have trouble deciding who my favorite character from Freedom Force is. Barring some character I forgot about, I'd probably say The Ant (my answer may very well have been different back when the game came out).

Speaking of the Great Hunt, I played that mod, I quite enjoyed it. And it holds some special quality to me, because I was in in it!

I voiced a terrified scientist, and a mercenary with a digitally altered voice. I wasn't proud of how either of them came out sounding.

Yeah, that was a really neat mod, with such a massive and weird collection of characters!

Ha, cool SS, I didn't know that!

Oh man, Great Hunt was awesome! I love all the character interactions in it. Having Wolverine wanting to claw his brains out because Minute Man would just keep talking was fantastic.

And that's awesome that you were in it! I couldn't get very far it in it (FF does not want to cooperate). Do you remember which mission(s) you were in?

EDIT: And here I am repeating myself. God, I don't even remember typing that last comment of mine and it hasn't even been a month, haha

Anyways, to add to your "Favorite Character" comment, the Ant was always one of my faves. I mean, I love Spider-Man and he's a clear homage to him and ants are just amazing. What's not to love?

The Ant kinda reminded me of Donatello from Ninja Turtles, in that he was the most scientific-minded member of the crime fighting team who talked shop constantly. That might be what I like about him.

In the Great Hunt I had two small parts: A terrified scientist who alerted the heroes to the presence of Batman, and an armored mercenary working for Kang who accompanied Kraven the Hunter on a mission. The former performance I disliked because I was supposed to sound frightened but I found I came off a bit too wooden and stilted. The later had a digital filter, and the creator of the mod had specific directions for me for the role even though I only had about one of two lines. I was told to sound very no-nonsense, all-business, not very emotional.
