FFX Crashing! oh no!

lately i haven't been able to run ffx properly,  so i just did a reinstall of ffx3.3 with the patch, then i merged my old dats with it.

no,  that was it...
oh well, i just did a whole reinstall,  and only kept my fx.dat
somethings weird in Vista,  when i open FFEdit it can only open half of the program,  the templates and half of the fx tab are missing.  so i can't really do anything other than merge dats now with the program,  i'll post a pic.

As far as ffedit goes, that problem has been reported with XP as well. IIRC, it's a screen resolution error.

Regarding the FFX issue (and generally in game crashes), it's important to describe in more detail what is happening during the crash (what kind of crash it is, when it happens, what shows up on the screen, etc.) and post your script.log (and your ff.err, if it isn't empty).
