Gamma Patrol of Lichtenstein link
« on: August 13, 2009, 12:43:59 PM »
Is there any link to the "Gamma Patrol of Lichtenstein" that isn't broken or is the site down for good? I was just wondering because I'd like to see what's on that site.

GPL was such a cool site. I wish I had a link that still worked.

Two? Not quite... that was like 10 years ago.

Really but HeroForce is at least 14 months old. Did we start HFv2 before GPL officially closed?

GPL was just one of the more recent departures from the FF community.

Anybody recall The Freedom Force Center? Howabout the Skindex? When they had Marvel skins? Dragon Force? I was there at all of them. Ive seen awesome sites come and go for like what? Almost a decade now.

Still love Freedom Force.

I think most of us still love FF, Scorp.  ;)

I'm guessing it's just difficult to keep sites going.  Freedom Force Center is back, isn't it?

FFC isn't exactly back... there's a new forum called FFC, but it's more a redone version of the NPI/Freedom Asylum forum Original Freedom. It's a great site though, even if it is a tad empty ATM.

Nono, Im talking about the OLD FFC. The one where it was life IGN or File Front or something site where you could go and download hundreds of early, early skins.

Or maybe it wasnt called Freedom Force Center. I cant remember, its been so long. Someone else remembers this site, right?

No we didn't. I was on a google page after Gamma Patrol went down for a while before UE asked about doing a new site which became HF.

According to the wayback machine the site went away between Jan and March of 2007 -- January had the site up, March had the default cpanel WHM installation screen.

Lo, though they are gone from the intranets, they are not gone from our hearts.
