Btw
I am looking for a superman mesh . Is renegade superman mesh the one that most people use now? How about bats?
Is there a superboy mesh with renegade animations and supergirl?

I know the later three are go in the request for stuff section and i can post it here but i am really looking for c tool first.

Whats this for? It's for a project with dc but i need some reference. heh I got a halloween special and right now it's has supes in it.

[Moved your first post here so that people more active with the game will see it.]

You might want to check the Game FAQ for info on getting the character tool and so on. No idea how it works under Mac emulation.

Hey Ink, I got the character tool back from the irrational site, very good to see that you have returned, always been a fan of your work.  I just returned after about a three year dismissal.

I'm not a mac guy myself, so I don't exactly know what to tell you... except that I don't think ctool (or FF for that matter) works on a mac, at least not directly. If you're just doing a skin, however, there's a program called "nifskope" that will function as a poor man's Ctool... without animations  :(. However, I know there are virtual PCs and their ilk which should allow you to emulate XP (**** vista) on a mac, but it all depends on what route you wish to go into.

As for meshes to use: Ren's Superman is pretty much bread and butter right now, though I wouldn't discount VX's Superman... though I don't know where it's at. For Batman I'd suggest Grenadier's Batman, though he's probably the most duplicated mesh out there ATM.

As for Superboy... which one? Ren has done an old-school superboy mesh, but it's not built for Conner's current build. I'd suggest PMing AA, he's not as active right now but he's done enough Superman family skins he should be able to point you to most of what you'd need mesh-wise.

I'm trying to get this to work on another computer. Where should you place the custom meshes and skins for the ctool to read?

Well, first you'll need to create a specific structure of folders so that Ctool can see the meshes (Custom\Art\library\characters\[meshes/skins go here]), and then you'll need to set Ctool to your new custom directory and everything should load for you.
