Corollary question: have any meshers actually learned how to create/animate these FX?  I seem to recall making some abortive attempts at new cone FX with Prem's assistance; however, nothing came to fruition.  Have any of our more experienced (read "successful") meshers attempted to make new cone FX?

And, no, I do not intend to take up meshing (not that I ever hefted the art high above my head before my hiatus last year) again for the foreseeable future.
