White cross when attack bonus gained in FFX-can it be eliminated?

I think it can but my search fu is really weak on this site. Anyone know the secret. I find it really distacting when its over most characters.

I hate it too,  maybe the easiest way is to replace the nif with the ffx_tiggot nif?  Or maybe a different fx nix.
  I don't think you could change the template,  you'd have to physically replace the nif in the library.
