Wow, you are really skinning the HECK out of these characters, Pod!  These are wonderful skins and skopes you and WB are putting together.

The Pod skins...

Today we have Cypher in his original and modern New Mutants costumes, his X-Force duds, and the alternate reality Warlock from Age of X. All on a nice skope by Windblown with great hair.

Doug Ramsey was brought back to life a few years ago in the Necrosha storyline. He'll be appearing in the upcoming All New X-Factor title.
You know I really don't have much to say about Doug Ramsey...

More skins coming soon. I'm delaying Surge's release for a bit.

Haha, you don't have much to say about him, but you made four beautiful skins.  Lovely work, Pod.

Looking good Pod!
now how can I simulate a polyglot in FF? heh.

You're right,  that skope does look good, especially the hair.  You could even say that the hair looks a little... windblown.

These look great and I'm happy to see Age of X skins because I loved that storyline. I had no clue Dougie was in X-Force but it makes sense given he would be able to broker intel and read body language.

It seems since his return his powers have evolved into a mix of Tao and Midnighter.
I would give him the following attributes...

  • Battle Computer: He has the ability to read opponents' abilities and figure out how to defeat them.
  • Danger Sense: To avoid attacks before they happen.
  • Combat Skill: To show how he communicates body language in the field.
  • Coordinator: He can unconsciously make logical jumps in combat situations to aid himself and his teammates.

For Power and Skills:
A couple of melees, a direct low mental blank (to calm opponents), a direct low berserk/rage (to anger opponents), a direct low hypnotize (to change an opponents mind), and a passive defense to avoid melee crushing and piercing attacks (again to aid in body language reading skills)

Cyber Burn

Loved the Cypher character when I was younger, very pleased to see this done. Great job guys.

Solid advice! Thanks AA!

Looking forward to the release Pod!

Yeah Age of X was neat, and had some really cool designs. I'll be skinning Hellion AoX design too, and there's always the possibility of more.

Doug only served one mission with X-Force. It was during Second Coming where 20,000 Nimrods were coming through a portal to the future to kill Hope and the X-Men. X-Force was sent to escort Cypher into the future to shut them down.

Those are some great ideas for powers AA. I can only remember one story, Necrosha, where he was that effective in combat.

In an issue of New Mutants he took down all of teammates that way.

Yeah that was the Necrosha tie-in issues of New Mutants, unless there's another one. It was very impressive.
The way he was resurrected was a combination of magic and the Transmode Virus. Following the event he no longer showed signs of the Transmode virus, though I've never been certain if he lost those abilities. It be have been the virus that made him so effective in combat. I was never certain and I haven't read much of the recent New Mutants run past Second Coming.

Nice Cypher skins, Pod. The seams on the second costume are really crisp.

oh man,  i'm getting a corrupted nif file... is it just me?

Cyber Burn

I just downloaded this, it downloaded fine, but would not install. I also tried to open the nif from the zip file (Which I do a lot) and got and an error messege stating that:

"Windows cannot complete the extraction. The destination file could not be created."

Podmark

Sorry guys, give it another try. I've reuploaded the file and it's working for me so here's hoping.

Working now on CTool and Nifskope, for me at least. Crisp skin work there, Pod!

Thanks again Podmark! This is great stuff!
I'm hoping some of the female New Mutants are coming down the line, too. ::)

I'm sure I'll get to them eventually. Nothing immediate though.

Cypher looks great. I really like that hair piece.

Podmark

Time for another member of the Uncanny X-Men!

Eva Bell was the first of the New Xavier School students introduced. She has the power to create bubbles that freeze time. She's my favorite of the students mostly because she has a cool design, particularly the hair.

The skope is another of the great creations of Windblown, and includes some pretty cool hair.

I'm so glad to see her done. She is one of my fav new characters in comics.

She looks absolutely perfect. Tempus is my favorite of the new bunch of students too.

BentonGrey

Ohh, nice skins, Pod, and you're right, she does have some nice looks.

That's great! She is probably the breakout star of the book....but then there is GOLDBALLS!

Cyber Burn

Haven't read a new X-Book in forever, but I am really loving the collaborations between you and Windblown.

I'm waiting patiently for Goldballs to get a costume to skope him.
