Avatar design help?

The facemask looks very, very cool - it has my vote. The Helmet makes him look just too much like Magneto for originality.

Open Mask. The Helmet, while cool, is too Magneto-y... I ran into a similar issue redesigning Syn awhile back, redesigned the thing like 20 times.

Plus, something about that mask makes me feel like it's there to augment his powers, make them more dangerous. The Helmet, typically, is a defensive headgear, and that feels like it conflicts with the design.
