Costume Rating 18: New 52 Nightwing version 1

Next we have the first (as far as we know) Nightwing costume for the New 52:


This costume was as far as I know only shown briefly in Red Hood and the Outlaws as part of Jason Todd's flashback. Still we'll give it a rating, why not?

This is just cluttered, and really just overdesigned in general.

This makes Liefield's work look good.

I hate it.

Too many unnecessary lines, it's just a bad design in general.

Oh my god they took the original Nightwing costumes and made them WORSE. What the hell is that abomination!?!

2: Yeah, I'll agree with everyone else.  It's over designed and stupid looking.  It isn't worse than the worst Nightwing costumes, I'd say, but it's very much like a modern DC costume.  I'm just surprised they didn't make it all black.

2, just a bad design, very boring too. Those spikes have a really weird placement as well. His modern new 52 suit is much better.

I voted Hate it!
This is just one of the most quick and lazy designs I've ever seen. Very boring and incomplete looking. Admittedly if I'm correct about how it came to be, then it was likely created very quickly just for a brief flashback. But surely the artist could come up with something better than this!
