Ok here we go, Batman villains and allies shelf

Pre Batman RIP Bat family

Bonus pic: Brian Bolland, Jim Lee and Greg Capullo Batmen

Plan to get new 52 Bat family as they come out. Already ordered Nightwing, should be here any day now. Obviously need Gordon and Damian as Robin (hopefully they release them as part of Capullo line). Villain wise, ordering Talon next week, waiting for Mr Freeze in October, hoping they announce new 52 Bane figure soon (the look is a nice combo of DKR and classic Bane). Oh and planning to get Harley too.

Nice collection.  Alfred & Hugo Batman are the coolest ones.

Question: Have they ever made (recently) a plan Bruce Wayne Figure?  I have seen ones where he can change to Bat Man, but I think it would be kind of cool to have a Bruce Wayne figure to go with Alfred

Tnx Jey.

And no they haven't unfortunately. Would buy plain suit Bruce Wayne in a heartbeat, and find a separate spot for him and Alfred. Best they ever did was Batman with an alternate Bruce Wayne head but that's it.

I've seen a few customs that have been made using the Arkham city Bruce Wayne head and a CnC suited wrestler body that are pretty cool. But yeah, I think every single Bruce Wayne has been an unmasked or quick change (even in the Movie Masters TDK line, which is 80% suited figures)

bat1987

Ya movie masters even had plain Harvey Dent figure but not Bruce Wayne. Surprising to say the least.

Podmark

That's a really cool collection. I think my favorite might be the Jim Lee Batman.

I like how well done the Nu52 sculpts are and those Bat Villain Shelf looks pretty stocked, but to be a stick in the mud the coloring on some of the BatFamily Members seems to be a bit off on minot parts, and not really a fan on how Damian's figure looks there (I was more of a fan of his YJ Based Figure) but that Cass Batgirl looks mondo bodacious.

Tomato

Damian and Cassie are both back from the days when DC Collectibles was still DC Direct, and many of their early figures were very... uneven. If I might suggest alternatives...

-the DCD Ed McGuinness Batgirl isn't terribly expensive like  the DCSH one. This site has some nice comparisons between the figures.
-For Damian, I'd suggest sticking to the Batman Inc version... if it weren't so bloody expensive. Your best bet might be to stick with the upcoming Mattel figure and then hope DC resurrects him in time for another figure.

-Wow that Ed Mcguiness Cassie looks great, very clean and simple. Might need to track that down. Tnx 'Mato. The 1st appearance one was the only figure of her I could find at the time and I needed Cassie for the display.

-As for Damian, he was an accessory so to say to Tim Drake Robin pictured here. And its the only figure of him in Batman and Son outfit (pre Robin). I cannot forgive myself for not picking up Batman Inc Damian when I had the chance, need to sell a kidney to get one now. The mattel one is a bit too bulky for my taste. There's a storyline called Robin rises in Bat books starting next week so that might justify a new figure of him.

Tomato

it was on ebay for $35 when I looked it up, which isn't bad at all given the age of the figure.

As for Damian... yeeesh. I knew that one was out there, but holy hell in a handbasket the price is insane. Seriously, the wave one Arkham figures aren't that bad, and I flat out refused to buy several of them.

Podmark

Thanks for the link on the Cass comparison, Tomato. I love the character but I've never really seen a figure that I liked of her, but that DCSH is alright and the that Infinite Heroes prototype showed promise. I kinda hate the First Appearance figure, and I'm not big on the McGuiness figure.

I'm a DCUC guy, so my preference is also the DCSH figure... the issue with it though is that it's EXPENSIVE. Goes for about $75-150 secondhand.

New(52) addition to the (Bat) family.

Oh and fixed the paint issues on Bat family with some tempera. Worked wonders.

Very cool.
The articulation on that Batman seems better than I thought DC figures usually had.

Yeah, DCC has REALLY stepped up their game over the last few years. I'd argue that some of their figures, like the super articulated version of Arkham City Batman, are actually MORE articulated than the DCUC figures used to be.

bat1987

Oh for sure, they really stepped up their game. Arkham stuff and Designer series (Capullo figures) are really top notch work. They always had talented sculptors, the fact they also hire Gentle Giant for some of their figures doesn't hurt either. They have started incorporating improved articulation and hopefully more and more of their upcoming stuff will have it.

I also like the little details they have in these. The 3 removable batarangs Batman has, very cool for display purposes, although they are easy to loose so I rarely remove them lol. Also the fact that all 6 of those little knives on Talon's chest strap are removable is awesome. I like when companies go an extra mile to make their stuff better.

bat1987

Added Mr. Freeze to the shelf. Great looking figure IMO, happy to finally have him on display

bat1987

Snagged Capullo Com.Gordon. :)

JeyNyce

Not bad, but I would chosen different color scheme for Gordon's outfit.  With that in mind, how likely you think they will make a Gordon/Batman figure?  I would love to see one where you can take him out of the armor.

Personally i'd rather have the villains that appeared in endgame (bane mainly) and couple of more bat family members.
That being said i'm sure they will do gorbat. I think they'll make 2 separate figures, one deluxe robot suit and one standard figure in the black suit. If they do the robot suit with removable figure inside, i'd be very impressed.

Podmark

That's a pretty great Gordon. As for the new Batman I feel pretty confident he'll be getting a toy sooner or later.

K, got a bunch of stuff in the meantime, just haven't gotten around to post it here

First up is Greg Capullo Two face, while I still like Long Halloween Two Face, which I had since forever, still wanted an updated version of the character since I was never 100% with the LH version. Really like how he turned out here. Black and white suit is also my fave outfit of his, so that was a definite plus.

Next is Capullo Batgirl, in her first new 52 outfit, love the headsculpt on this one

Continuing with the ladies, its new 52 Poison Ivy, whose costume I really wasn't a huge fan of but it kinda grew (heh) on me. Plus the figure came out nicely.

And finally, new 52 Harley in her roller derby duds from her solo series. Really like this figure, she also comes with rollers with movable wheels that you attach to her feet, but I was lazy to remove them from the box, since I display her without them, but its a really cool accessory nonetheless.

Podmark

Those all look really great. I especially like the Batgirl.
