I figure it would be Superman '78 since it was that movie most people know and Christopher Reeve who is the favorite Supes and is consider part of the trio with Linda Carter & Adam West.

I would love to see more of these out of continuity books!  Personally, I'd kill to see a Hawkman book from his Bronze Age era...or an Aquaman book from that same time.  Well, pretty much anything from then. :P

Yeah, Benton, but you'd kill for just about any Aquaman book...

Ah, JeyNyce, the thing is both the Batman '66 and Wonder Woman '77 are the television versions of the characters (might like to see a Shazam '74, too), so '55, in keeping with the duplicate digits, would be the TV Superman.

Not that a Superman '78 wouldn't be nice...

Haha, not exactly, DG; I wouldn't so much as maim for the current Aquaman book. :P

How about a '41 Superman? I realize the thread involves those from live action TV series, but the Max Fleischer Superman cartoons are epic. Has anyone done a version of him?

JeyNyce

I wouldn't mind if they brought back these guy (WW'77, BM'66 & Supes'41) back in animation form.  I love the old Max Fleischer cartoons and it would be cool to see the whole JLA done in that style.

Ohh man, I would watch the HECK out of a Fleischer style DC cartoon!

I was thinking of revising that last list.

Max Fleischer should definitely be included.

Just saying,if your nostalgic about Donners movies,he had a brief run on Action Comics with Geoff Johns. Most notably the Last Son story which introduced General Zod into comics.
