I have recently been looking toward trying my hand at skinning, and I would like some base skins for this. However, as you may know, Gryphon's website recently went down, so I'm wondering where to obtain said base skins. I'm mostly looking for base skins to some of Interceptor's female meshes, as well as Irrationals original female basic and female long hair meshes. And if anyone has some of Gryphon's base skins that would be great. Thanks in advance.

No Gryphon skins at this location (I think), but a lot of others:

Some people have never released their base meshes; I'm not sure if Interceptor uses his own or someone elses's.

In asking for a request, it's best to say where you want something sent. I, for instance, have three e-mail addresses (oh, wait, I have four now), and , while I usually want things sent to one in specific, I don't always.

Hey! I found a Gryphon skin there.

Hello 19jind, if you're looking specifically for The Gryphon's Base Skins, then I would suggest trying his Yahoo Group. There seems to be a few located there.

Ok, this should have the Zip Files for all the Base Skins that I have. In addition, it has WireMaps to Irrational's Characters, Face Packs, Fire Packs, Lightmaps, and miscellaneous Textures.

The thing is, I opened the group and copied the address from the pane in Firefox.

I had actually started to build a separate Library for Fire Packs, Lightmaps, and Miscellaneous Textures, but I think they were deleted when I started clearing off my Computer earlier this Summer. I may try to rebuild, but I haven't decided yet.

I have a Male Basic Firepack and a Male Basic Reflection which have the same display skin in each folder and different fire and reflections textures. I can look and get an idea of what the result will be.

Not a problem. Are you able to get into any Yahoo Groups? Or are you having trouble with all of them?

I only ask because if you need Tutorials on Skinning, the Resources Group in my Signature has a few, but if you can't get into the Group then I could load some up like I did the Base Skins.
