I get errors when installing all the files, and the fix gives me errors and doesn't work when trying to run it:
When trying to install: "3. pywin32-217.win32-py2.7", I get this message-

close failed in file object destructor:
sys.excepthook is missing
lost sys.stderr

Then when I try to install the skinpartition files, I get 'could not set key values.'

I saw the 'key values' message when I installed too. But I'm able to run the script .
I didn't see the other error, though.

What OS are you running? I'm on Win 10 Home (64bit)

Are you using the exe installers for all the parts (and what versions?)

I ran (in this order):
1. python 2.7.7.msi
2. pywin32-219.win32-py2.7.exe
3. pyFFI-0.4.5.win32.exe
4. ffvt3rskinpartition-1.0.win32.exe

Yeah, except that I used the 2.7.3 version of Python which came with the ghosting fix pack.

:EDIT: I updated to 2.7.7, and I'm still getting the same errors.

Do you have multiple versions of python installed? that can sometimes screw stuff up?

Nope, just the one.

Hmm, not sure what else to suggest, other than completely uninstall those 4 items and put them back in order and try again.
NOTE: I install in slightly  different order than the doc I had: (don't think it would make a difference but give it a shot)
I do:
1. python-2.7.3.msi
2. pywin32-217.win32-py2.7
3. PyFFI-0.4.5.win32
4. ffvt3rskinpartition-1.0.win32

I have managed to compile the ghost fix script into an EXE - which means I'm 1 step away from being able to integrate it into EZHERO, but I'm stuck on an error myself.

I'm just grasping at straws here, but is an argument pointing to a character mesh being passed to it?
