Here's a weird one....

For some reason, Photoshop CS2 is collapsing the alpha channels onto the Background and re-naming Bg 0 Layer. Now, I've had a few skins in the past that had a '0' layer with stuff that wasn't supposed to show transparent, and it was explained to me that it was an old way to handle alpha channels for older computers. Now this is happening to all of the skins. Some skins have the whole '0' layer clear except for the eyes, or some half of every skin (one leg, half the face, one arm, so on) is "alpha-ed" out, I have a filter that will "unhide" this stuff, but does anyone have a guess what is causing it in the first place?

Something that may or may not matter: I can't find my disk with a newer version of PS on it, so possibly it's the program. Also, one Windows update disabled my graphics card and some how made the screen in something like CGA (yes, it gave me a headache), and, while I rolled back that update, it doesn't seem to be affecting anything else that I can see.

When I finish the pic I flatten the picture through the layers menu.

No, I haven't tried those things. I'll do that and get back to you.
