Issues with NIF Converter

Hey all, I've given Alex's EZNIF Converter a try (after having to install an old version of .NET framework), and I have a question:

When you convert a mesh, are you supposed to get an acknowledgement?  All I see is two Command Prompt type windows flash up very quickly, and then disappear, so I have no idea if it was successful or not.

I ask, because I have at least 2 meshes that are crashing my game.  From my original FF folder, it's for Ultimate Daredevil, and Ultimate Captain America.  When I try selecting these in the "Characters" screen, it crashes out the game.  Figuring it was bad NIFs, I tried running them through the Converter.  No dice.  So is the NIF Converter not working, or are they just problematic meshes?

Thanks for helping out an old-timer player, just now upgrading...

The nif converter doesn't have an acknowledgement, but you can verify it works by checking the save under new name option.

Whose Ultimate Cap and Ultimate DD if I may ask? I know the ones by Ren were made for  :ffvstr: specifically, but I don't know of others. Either way, if you could upload the nif+kf (either through dropbox or something similar) so I or one of the other members here can take a look, we might be able to tell you the issue.

Edit:As a stopgap, I had Ren's 4 Ultimate Cap meshes sitting on my computer, which were built specifically for the second game and I know they work. https://mega.nz/#!iU01iKJa!m4rqaRKs-t8HUT-Y3QOhAlm1l74zdbpfl2a4ot1-wBo

Here's the DD and Cap meshes that keep crashing.  Thanks for posting the other Cap, I'll give it a try!

Ok, I got them to work on my end. The .nif files do actually convert fine, but the keyframes for Taskmaster were being temperamental. If you have others in the same vein (They're often denoted by "TM") uncheck "Convert Keyframe" and just convert the .nif files, that's all that needs converting. I also renamed the converted mesh, just so I knew it worked.

Well, I just confirmed my EZNIF Converter isn't working.  I tried to have it create a new folder for the converted Ultimate Iron Man mesh, and it failed.  Any advice?

Do the conversion in a folder on the desktop. Be sure that the original nif isn't write protected (or something like that), make sure the Nifconverter runs as an administrator, and that's all I've got right now.
