I just got a spam offer from a "COBRA Inc." offering me a healthcare plan. Now, I may not be from the generation that grew up with GI Joe, He-Man, or TMNT, but even I know that COBRA should not be giving me healthcare.

The Consolidated Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act of 1985 (or COBRA) is a law passed by the U.S. Congress on a reconciliation basis and signed by President Reagan that, among other things, mandates an insurance program giving some employees the ability to continue health insurance coverage after leaving employment. more information here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Consolidated_Omnibus_Budget_Reconciliation_Act_of_1985Though, I like the idea of a health plan funded by Cobra Commander better. |

I also remember hear tell about Cobra's great healthcare plan! No wonder than had so many soldiers......Gi Joe was way out numbered....and the question is why...it all boils down to good health and dental.
