Howdy guys! Someone PMed me, and asked me for some advice in setting up Aquaman if FF. I though that some others might not be too familiar with the character, but might still want him in the game. So, I'll post my Aquaman file here, along with a few tips and such about creating the king of the seas. If anyone has any questions or has a different take on him than I do, please post and lets discuss it.
Okay, here is my version of the modern Aquaman (Water-Bearer):
First of all, I have a custom combo attribute for him called 'atlantian.' Here's what that looks like:
you hail from the lost city of atlantis, and have many enhanced abilities thanks to your lineage (COMBINES: disciplined, heavy lifter, super leaper, fast healing, grim resolve, and level-headed).
As far as Aquaman himself, the classic is primarily a brawler. Although he's not as durable as Supes and some of the other uber powerful types, Arthur is still one tough nut to crack. However, both versions also have some telepathy to consider, although it is stronger in the modern incarnation (thanks to his ability to focus it through the water hand. Now, a couple of things to keep in mind: #1 This is FF1, as I can't have this convienient print-out of my FF2 file, #2 This is modern, so you'll want to do away with 'mystic prison,' and 'secret sea strength,' for classic. Also, it might be a good idea to cut down the power of his telepathy related powers one level or so.
Now, the fun part, (at least to me) where we come to Aquaman underwater. This is a much different animal. He has MUCH greater speed (being able to keep up with even the likes of Supes and such under the waves), and his agility and strength both get a boost.

Well, there ya' go, I hope that might provide some help to some of y'all, but keep in mind that these files both represent a work in progress, as I am trying to continually balance and adjust my files in preperation for adding them all as built ins for FF2.

Dude! Your Aquaman hero file rocks! I may just have to add him to my custom list now (actually I've been considering it highly). Aquaman is actually one of my all time favorite superheros (silver age or other wise). As a kid I actually had an Aquaman #1 that my mom found in a thrift store and brought home for me. Can you imagine?!! Sadly, I don't have it now. I guess I didn't realize what I had. :o

Ha, thanks man, I'm glad you enjoyed it. I picked up the Aquaman DC Archive last year, and it was quite awesome. It would be pretty cool to have a #1, but I've never even seen any single issues from that run.
