I believe if you downloaded the ffvttr demo, titania's charm was in the directory. Hope that helps!

- 1. Unrar the file
- 2. Place the folder, titanias_charm, in this location ...library\fx\the_bard\titanias_charm
If you don't have the in-game fx unzipped already (READ: those directories aren't already made), you can just create those directories yourself.

that is pretty much step by step. Can you give me more info? Like, are you installing this into FFVTTR or FFX 3.0 (or the upgrades)? Do you have this directory created already: library\fx\the_bard\ ?
You haven't given him any instructions for how to install it into FFEdit. Without that step, it definitely won't work.
If i skipped those directions, it's probably because they arent needed for this particular fx because, I dunno, the ffedit entry is already there and should be there for ffx as well unless someone edited it.
Which is why I asked for more specific information. -_-
I believe the folder needs to be called "Titania's_charm", not "Titanias_charm".
FWIW, I'll add the NIF files to the final release of FFX.

Actually, the original entry is titanias_charm because IG doesnt usually use quotation marks in ffedit entries. It's only
titania's.... in the ffx entries for whatever reason.
idk what unrar is but i unzipped it and placed the folder in that directory and it wont show up
you still didnt say if you were doing this for ffvttr or ffx. Either way, make a copy of the fx folder and rename it to "titania's_charm" (without quotes). This will allow it to work in plain FFVTTR and all the FFX spinoffs. (and it keeps you from messing with ffedit).
Unrarring something is the exact same thing as unzipping a .zip file.

I had forgotten that it was a missing fx and not a new one, so that's why I said what I said. Sorry for that.

Complete FWIW:
The reason it's
Titania's_charm in FFX is because we used the DATs from the never completed FFvsTTR Patch, since they fix a few minor issues (hidden bonus FFX feature ;) ); the straight single quote is IG's, as their patch installed the folder that way.

I have linked it to like all of them.....
I have tried converting the FX......
The FFEdit is set to the path and I have tried launching it on the Core...Start...and End and its really ticking me off that it wont freaking work!
I figured it out....the data path was set to FFX not Normal FFVTTR so it wouldn't show up.
Would an Admin delete this thread.
