I'll try my hand, at both the skin and skope.  I'm not speedy though. If I need help with the skoping Carrivaggio, can I drop you a line?

I really like that Muto, and it should be super easy to do.

That is, if somebody can point me to an appropriate mesh. So where is the male_basic_flippinhugehead mesh, guys?

The bighead mesh doesn't really work, as it's only been made big in one dimension.  I'm still awaiting a more-properly inflated head mesh for the Servant of Darksied Oan clone.  I just haven't gotten around to pestering Tommy for one yet.  ;)

My plan is to used Crusader/Sacren's Big A-- Fro mesh for Muto (yes that means I'm stepping up for him as well - I have some thoughts for the creature, and may take him on, but I won't commit to that as I am notoriously slow).

Post by: UnkoMan on March 27, 2007, 10:47:34 AM
Yeah, Beyonder's is great for the Leader, not so much for this fella.

What's that big fro mesh? Even if I don't skin Muto I'd still love a giant headed mesh... There was a sweet "chibi" one with a huge head and dwarfed body... I wonder where if I can find that.

Post by: doctorchallenger on March 27, 2007, 10:55:30 AM
Big fro is at Alex's Freedom Fortress on Crusader/Sacren's mesh page(http://www.alexff.com/stuffSC.php (http://www.alexff.com/stuffSC.php)).  I think Kraven did the male_dwarf_bighead hex (of halfscan's male_dwarf).  It included 2 skins of the Hulk villains Gargoyle and Gremlin respectively.

I've made a stab at making Muto, a favorite villain of mine.  It's my first time showing something I've Nifskoped.  It's still a WIP.

It's a combination of Ink's Professor Lobe and the collar from Tommyboy's Sagittarius, using the male_basic_sinister base skin.

Here's my progress thus far:

I'm still tweaking the skin and the mesh pieces. As you can see the belt needs to be adjusted.  Here's a close up with highlights added to the skin.

Ah yes, Dr. Bong...

Real Name: Jeff Spicoli
Cover: Travels the country with the Phish Tour, masquerading as an unemployed, burned-out fan
Battle Cry: **Cough**Cough**Hack!
Super Powers: Can inflict dry mouth on opponents, preventing them from swallowing; gas pellets give the "munchies", a hypnotic state in which his opponents stop whatever they're doing and eat Cheetos and Ben and Jerry's
Weakness: Short term memory loss

PS--sorry, I couldn't resist

I was the Mod Gorilla Boss for halloween last year. True story.

I'd love to see those three in FF somehow. Every one of them was pure gold.

I don't know who this Sadistik fella is, but the more I read, the more I am enthralled. I really hope he gets done.

With Gren allowing skopes on his meshes, Mod Gorilla Boss can be mostly doable. I just don't think my skinning ability would do him justice. Would anyone like to, as they say in hockey, "take the assist?"

I was wanting to do Congorilla, so I took Tommyboy's Red Ghost Super-Gorilla and played with the colors, overlaid the face with a pinker color, and presto, I had a golden gorilla. So, I figured as long as I was doing it, and it was strictly for my own amusement, I would do Sam Simeon, from Angel and the Ape (Foglio ain't bad, but Oskner and Wood? Unbeatable.). I re-painted the face and hands of the gorilla, and added black hair. I took the suit off a Question skin (both wore blue suiits), did a little modification (white shirt, black tie mostly), and presto! Now, the funny thing is, the skin for the gorilla is laid out exactly like any other male basic skin, but the gorilla mesh isn't shapped like that. It makes the suit bag and shift and bunch in funny places, and somehow-IT LOOKS RIGHT.
Just thought I'd mention it.

I'd also like to know how to go about getting these bad guys myself.

Maybe we ought to start an Obscure Character Yahoo group.

Tomorrowman: Artur Zarrko was a brilliant citizen in a 23rd century utopian society. He was very unhappy, however, because he dreamed of military conquest but was unable to procure weapons technology in his time period. He travelled back in time and stole an experimental bomb, but was defeated by Thor, who returned the weapon to its rightful time and place. The conflict left "Tomorrow Man" with amnesia, but the evil Loki restored his faculties and set him against Thor again. Thor has defeated the Tomorrow Man many times, but he inevitably returns with a new scheme for conquering the world.

Mentallo: Marvin Flumm was a shoe salesman whose latent psychic abilities were recognized by an agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. After being recruited and trained in the use of his powers, Flumm became ambitious and planned to take over the organization. Discovered, he stole some equipment and ran off to become Mentallo. He spent several years in various partnerships with the Fixer (now Techno), frequently serving in the HYDRA organization. For a time he served with the members of the former Mutant Force as one of the Resistants, but he has recently resumed his solo career as Mentallo. It was recently revealed that Mentallo is incarcerated at Seagate Prison.

more villains obscure: Peace Monger, Moses Magnum, Megaman  :rickbm
(http://i72.photobucket.com/albums/i176/MOCHAMAN54/1peacemonger.jpg)(http://i72.photobucket.com/albums/i176/MOCHAMAN54/1mosesmagnum.jpg)(http://i72.photobucket.com/albums/i176/MOCHAMAN54/1megaman.jpg)
Peace Monger: During a fund-raising dinner, Dr. Cobbleskill was attacked by a group calling themselves the Knights of Saint Virgil. They meant to kill him, yet he stopped his bodyguards from acting. The American Eagle pulled the rug from under the knights. Cobbleskill wanted to punish the men himself, but American Eagle stopped him and left with the newspaper columnist Joanna Cargill. Later, at a rally in front of the Washington Monument, Cobbleskill led the crowd's emotions to a fever pitch. Joanna Cargill appeared, revealing Cobbleskill's forgery of the attack by the Knights of Saint Virgil, Cobbleskill attacked her physically. When the American Eagle showed up, Cobbleskill had fully transformed into the Peace Monger. A physical dispute followed, which the Peace Monger lost (the crowd's hatred turned to betrayal and confusion, as the Eagle put it), as well as an intellectual debate on fighting prejudice and oppression. Cobbleskill's powers depleted, the American Eagle carried him to the police.

Moses Mangnum: Magnum was born in Ethiopia, but sided with Benito Mussolini's occupying army against his own people. Magnum later became a naturalized American citizen.

He became president of the Deterrence Research Corporation (or DRC), the world's foremost independent weapons manufacturing firm. As an arms expert, Magnum battled Spider-Man and the Punisher. Magnum surprisingly survived after the Punisher exposed him to chemical weapons. Then, he seemingly fell to his death after a battle with Luke Cage. However, Magnum was rescued by Apocalypse and granted superhuman powers which Magnum dubbed his "Magnum Force."[1] His powers included superhuman strength and geologically-based powers to cause earthquakes and sense disruptions in the Earth.

Tyrannus and his allies, They Who Wield Power, secretly gave Magnum technology which enhanced his superhuman strength and the power to focus vast amounts of energy so as to trigger earthquakes. Magnum next threatened to create earthquakes to sink Japan unless he was named the nation's ruler. His plan was foiled by an assault by the X-Men and Sunfire on Magnum's Kuril Islands headquarters. Banshee disrupted Magnum's earthquake beam, but suffered a long-term loss of his own sonic powers in the process.

Megaman:  is the uncle of Roger "Caps" Cooper. Roger and his uncle, Nathan, were on a camping trip when they came across a glowing black lake. Nathan accidentally fell into the lake and was teleported 1,000,000 years into the future. The sole inhabitant of that time period repaired Nathan's body but could not create any facial features. The faceless villain is able to control the environment around him and project energy blasts.

Appleman foe of Bananaman

History: The man known as Condor is a renegade scientist from the race known as the Avians, who have remained hidden from mankind for decades. He passed himself off as a human scientist whose mastery of genetics allowed him to grow wings. His repeated battles with Nova resulted in a confrontation with the archfiend Sphinx, who devolved Condor into his namesake. For years, the renegade wandered the world as a bird, spying on Nova when the latter regained his powers. Finally he heard of an island inhabited by a race of beast-men. Bird Boy, formerly of the New Warriors, helped Condor regain his humanity, but it was only a partial fix. Condor remains as he appears above: part man, part bird. He is quite bitter over his current appearance, and intends to fix it as soon as he shows the world that he is the smartest man alive.

I think Copper Age did a Brain Emperor skin.

Yellow Lantern is right; Copper Age did Brain emperor. It should be at one of his Yahoo Groups (Copper Wire groups).

The Deep Six *have* been done, at least to some extent.  I'll let BG fill in the details, as I don't know them.

I remember that issue. This version of the Conglomerate were actually characters from the same planet as the Crime Syndicate of America: the villainous forms of Fire, Ice, Blue Beetle, Elongated Man, Green Arrow, Metamorpho and Wally West's Flash. (Since Johnny Quick, I believe, was originally intended to be Barry Allen's opposite.) I don't understand Deadeye's inclusion of the team since he wasn't a member of the JLA during that era, but yeah, fun stuff. I was a fan of JLQ.

Yes the Deep 6 were done. Tommyboy made agreat mesh for Trok sind creating his weapon was impossible for someone like me to do. I did scope and skin the rest of them for the DCU mod done by Benton Gray. They are far from 100% accurate. But I did what I couls with them.

You're far too modest KS!  He did a pretty fantastic job with them, and I can't really think of a thing that isn't accurate about them.  They'll be in the final release of the DCUG, and I think KS has them in one of his yahoo groups.

I did that reverse flash version. I believe it was a reverse Flash robot and Blur as well. Can't remember which group they are in I think maybe my 8th group.
