Post by: herodad1 on April 05, 2007, 08:30:23 AM
does anyone know if there are plans for more ezfx for ffvttr?ive got the one with 180 fx's made for ff2.just asking if anymore will be added.the ezfx's install themselves...just right for us-of-no-knowledge.the game needs more specialized effects for certain characters.characters like dr.fate,dr.strange,havoc,iceman,magneto,and red tornado.   thanks.

A) wrong forum, bud
B) Unless Alex decides to return or someone decides to go out and get the permission of the fx creators, install them all, and create an easy program for others to install it...then most likely not.

So in short, you'll have to try and invest time in learning how to install fx for those characters or just stick with what you have available. :S

However, Benton's to-be-released DC Mod for FF2 has a number of FFX in it.  If you're not interested in using custom FFX for FF2's campaign, (The FF2  campaign doesn't work in Benton's mod, nor is there a custom campaign.) then there's another reason to pick it up when it's made availible to the general public.

True that. Benton's mod has a c*ap load of great FX.

In fact, downloading mods is a great way of getting FX. Hell, it's a great way to get anything for Freedom Force. Most meshes, FX and what have you I have I "stole" from mods.

FFEdit must be downloaded from the official site.

Detailed instructions can be found on the wiki.

Yeah, but unfortunately, not all of those FX will be included in my mod.  As a matter of fact, I won't be able to release a number of them, because I don't have permission.
