Hey,
I'd love to try out the Legion mod, but when I run the shortcut, I get the message:
alert: CIntLoader::discoverLanguages, No languages found
Does anyone know what I can do to fix this?
I've had this before. It normally tends to happen, for me, when I move the shortcut out from somewhere other than the mdo folder. To the desktop or something. Moving it back fixes it though. That's not what you did is it?
I'm having different trouble and perhaps someone can help me. I get past the Khundian mission which I believe is the fourth mission and into the next base with the alternate legion. When I start the mission I get a brief screen followed by an automatic win. After several tries of not getting an automatic win I do anyways and click on next mission which I automatically fail. I restart the mssion and my computer freezes up while the mission is loading and I have to turn it off and restart everything. I've done this sequence about 5 times now and it keeps doing the same thing. Can anyone help me? Not sure if I'm doing anything wrong.
I BELIEVE that is the last mission Tommy has finished so far. ^_^
Well that explains it then. I guess I got to excited. It's great so far. Got plenty of characters to play with so looks like a repeat performance is in order.
Yes, khundia is the last playable mission, followed by a brief stop at the 70's LSH HQ (cutscene only) where they discuss what is to be done.
I'm just recharging my LSH batteries before getting back into the next set of missions. If you look through the characters already made, you'll get some clues as to what those might be....
For some reason, the second mission bogs down quite a bit. I'm guessing its because of all the sounds? I couldn't finish the mission because it started to lock up. Anyone else have this problem?

OK, I'm having the same error message, but am I right in understanding that this is the fix? And what is the "mdo folder"? Thanks.
"mod folder" is the name of the folder the mod files resolve in.

Thanks Prev, maybe it's a Vista issue, or maybe it's just me; either way, unfortunately, I can't get the mod to run with the error message. The Best that I can do, is to get the shortcut to point back to the main game. Guess I just wasn't meant to play it at this time. I'll have to see if I can find another computer to try it out on. Thanks again Prev.
Again, I have to give you thanks Prev, I used the shortcut in your Crisis mod as a base to help me figure out what I was doing wrong with the LSH mod. Finally got it working.
Ok, I got FFVT3R in the mail yesterday, installed it, seems to play fine, but when I try to install the LSH mod I get a message that say's...
"Cannot create the following file C:\Program File.....etc,Uninstal.$$A
Anybody else get this? Is it a prob with the mod, or an improper installation of FFVT3R?
Any suggestions?
Sounds like a problem with the installer to me. Try running the mod anyways. If it's just having trouble creating the uninstaller, the mod itself may work fine.
Cat, thanks for the quick reply, but it won't finish installing the mod without the missing file. Think I'm gonna uninstall everything, and even re dload the mod and try it that way.
Hy, guys. Today I was trying to download the LSH mod to tommyboy's site. Unfortunately, the first file is wrong. Everyone can help me? Thanks!

That could be my fault.
As I was Uploading some new meshes yesterday the programme "decided" to start uploading the LSH Mod. I cancelled, but it may have fudged the download a bit. I'll try to fix it...
yep, it'll be back up tomorrow, I hope.
Sorry for the inconvenience.
I've re-uploaded part 1, so it should be OK now.....
Thank you, Tommy! I've downloaded your Red Tornado's mesh, too! Superb work.
Hi, guys. When I lanch the mod, appears an error message:
ALERT: CINTLOADER::DISCOVERLANGUAGE NO LANGUAGES FOUND
Where's the problem? Thanks!
I had the same problem and the link posted earlier in this thread help me solve the problem

I have a big problem. I dled the mod Friday and tried to install it once but couldn't find it. So I tried again today and installed in the FFVT3R folder. Then I read the readme saying to make a folder for it first.(how could I read the readme first anyway?) I think I have screwed up my FFVT3R now. How can I fix this?
Re-install FFV3R.
Um, I deleted that message so just disregard it.
Hi, guys. My problem on the fantastic mod of Tommy is that I can't go on the third mission. I beat the Fatal five whit the Miracle MAchine, then there was the screen with Time trapper. But, when I Click on Mission Breafing, nothing happen. Where's the bug? Thanks!

No idea.
It works for me, and with the information you've given (ie no script.log or ff.log), there is no way I can work out what your problem is.
Try playing the mission again and see if the same thing happens.
If it does, post your log files and if I can, I'll try to help.
Please bear in mind that it's over a year since I 'finished' the mod, or looked at the scripting, so I'm going to be VERY rusty.
Where I can find, in my "Lsh-new" directory, the files you need? Thank you

You can't, they are in the main ffv3r directory (the one the mod itself is in).
If you post, use the spoiler and/or code tags so the post isnt mega long.

I recently downloaded this mod, but I keep getting the error message too (no matter what I try)
"ALERT: CINTLOADER::DISCOVERLANGUAGE NO LANGUAGES FOUND"
I don't get why it doesn't work.

Me neither.
Judging by an earlier post in the thread, something about the way the mod is installed is the problem.
I'd suggest re-installing FFV3R, then try re-installing the Mod, if FFV3R works OK.
I assume any other Mods you have installed work OK?
Yeah, the other mods I have for :ffvstr: work fine. Weird. Should I just try to reinstall the mod itself?

I think thats a reasonable thing to try. Delete the old dir, and try a re-install.
Hmmmmmmm...I've reinstalled the mod (after uninstalling/deleting the original)...Now I get the CINTLOADER::DISCOVERLANGUAGE NO LANGUAGES FOUND error....Sigh.
Dana
the earlier responses that had this problem revolved around the shortcut. Make sure it's set up correctly and inside the mod folder as that may be causing the problem...at least it solved the earlier reports of this problem.
I saw the earlier posts too...This is where Tommyboy says to point the shortcut..."C:\Program Files\Irrational Games\Freedom Force vs The 3rd Reich\ffvt3r.exe" -game LSH-new -log" (I set it up that way) and this is how my FFVTTR and the mod are set up...C:\Program Files\Irrational Games\Freedom Force vs The 3rd Reich\LSH-new (I named the mod folder LSH-new)...The shortcut is also in the mod folder, so I don't see what the problem is?
It's pretty frustrating.
Dana :(

It's probably just a quoting typo, but you have three sets of " in the shortcut, which is either one too many, or one too few.
Other than that, if the shortcut resembles any other mods shortcuts that work, and the mod folder resembles in its structure other mod folders that work, it should work.
It looks OK to me as you describe it, (apart from the 3 "s), so I can't say anything helpful at the moment...sorry

I hope you think it worth all the effort...
