I chose Hal (anytime a hero punches Batman, that elevates him to a higher level of awesome) but I like most of the other GLs as well, especially Guy and Kyle. The whole Ion thing made Kyle kind of annoying to read about though... but still, it got him out of that designer nightmare he had, so I guess it wasn't all horrible.

Hal is my favorite, but the JLU version of Jon is REALLY close.  He was just beyond awesome.

Alan's been my favorite since I was a little kid.
I always liked the costume and loved the character, even with the dumb wood allergy.

I'm from the Hal Jordan generation. He seemed so sleek and young and jet-age in 1960. But when I first saw a panel of Alan Scott, in his colorful caped costume, repelling bullets with a force field, I was fascinated. I didn't know a another GL had existed, and the concept of another Justice League seemed wonderful.
That said, I always found a strong logic in Hal's origin, because the ring itself searched Earth for a completely honest, courageous man — the perfect candidate for super hero. And the Guardians opened up vast story possibilities

Out of all the action figures of Green Lanterns, the only one I ever bought was Tomar-Re.

All but Guy :thumbdown:. Sorry but there is somthing about him that drives me nuts! I grew up on John(via the Timm Justice League), then finally realized that there were more than just him, and since then i've gone through fases of faves, but none favoring Guy!
