Title: where do these hero files go?

I looked through 5 threads and I'm still confused? So the the path looks like
this right?
C:\Documents and Settings\Username\Local Settings\Application Data\Irrational Games\Freedom Force vs the 3rd Reich\Custom\Heroes

The only thing I see in custom is the art folder that leads into custom heros. Also these are in custom folder
Custom_Art_library_area_specific, Custom_Art_library_characters, custom missions.

Do I need to unzip something is the file hidden?

The path you have looks correct. If you want to be sure, just use the in-game hero editor to create a custom and then you can check in that folder to see his HERO file.

As stumpy suggested, that folder isnt created until you MAKE a hero file in game first, though you can create it manually.

Okay I manually created the Heroes file now I just drop hero files in it?

You mean the heroes folder, right? Yes, you can put HERO files you've downloaded into it and they will be available in the game, assuming you have the meshes the characters are based upon installed.

I got everything figured out know and thanks to EZHero it's
making things easy.This topic can be closed now.
