Finally, after almost 5 years, He-Man comes home.
He-Man and the Masters of the Universe Vol. 1 (http://www.amazon.com/He-Man-Masters-Universe-He-Man/dp/B0010VD7JO/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=dvd&qid=1199699861&sr=8-1) consists of most of the first season of the (2002) Cartoon Network series. Only two seasons were produced and they are apparently being broke up into 3 volumes.
Personally, I have been waiting for this series to hit DVD before they announced the New Adventures of He-Man.
I love this series and vow to force my only son to love it as well. :P

YES! :faint :faint
I love He-Man and the Masters of the Universe!
i think people can judge my opinion on this.
Nice to see there are people like me who enjoyed the modern He-Man cartoon. I never really saw the original (or I was very young and thus don't remember it, but I did have many of the toys and still have Skeletor, who somehow evaded the garage sale that did away my other figures) but I enjoyed the 2002 cartoon. I found the first season a bit tedious what with the stand-alone stories, but I found the show really hit its stride in the second season when they had guys like Cobra Khan and Hordak in it.
And that one two parter where He-Man fights all of the villains at once was just sweet.
sadly you guys would have loved the third series
hordak came back and took over eternia, the masters became enemy's of the state and went on the run, she ra would have been introduced, man at arms would have became a snake man for most of the series, and best news is
the ending would have been a throw down between skeletor and hordak with skeletor winning
it still amazes me there are other fans of the whole series on FR rather than just me
I watched some of these when they first came out, and I liked them pretty well. I was a huge fan of the original when I was a kid, so there was some of that nostalgia, resistance to the new version in me, though. I'd like to see these again, so I could judge them a little more honestly.
My fav. were always the ones with the Dragon in it though I cant remember his name. I really liked the 2002 series alot especially Skeletor. He actually seemed like a villian there
the dragon was Granamyr
I've been watching this show lately....and I have to admit, it really is fantastic! I'll definitely be picking this up on DVD one of these days.
I was actually surprised at how much a loved this show when it was on CN. I'll be picking this up, too.
EDIT: I just noticed Amazon has a special offer for this and The New Frontier DVD. Even better.
