Title: FFEdit Sound Problem
Post by: Destroyer1717 on March 05, 2008, 08:18:10 PM
I'm having trouble with FFEdit in terms of the sound function.  I just installed it for FF, but i had had it for FFvTR.  Not realizing that the one I installed with Character Tools 2 installed to FFvTR, I used it to mess with the sound files for FF1, but now the proper FFEdit won't open the sound tab.  Any guesses?

You are using XP SP2 or Vista right? Probably XP SP2.

If this is the case, there is nothing to be done.  FFEdit 1 just isn't compatible with XP SP2.  Some tabs do work, but only a very few.

Found a fix for this.
Find the ffedit.exe file then right click on properties. Under compatibility tab, check the box that says "Run this program in compatiltiy mode for:" Select Windows 98/ Windows Me.

I did have problem with the patch 1.3 so I didnt install that only patch 1.2.
