Title: Magnetic Wolverine?
Post by: crimsonquill on April 15, 2008, 07:32:18 PM
Ok, I'm either not searching correctly or I missed a thread on this somewhere....

I want my Wolverine to have Flesh as his Material type but still be influenced by Magentic Throw/Magnetism type attacks. Now I'm not a scripting wizard but I remember there was a simple way to do this and not mess up everything I just installed in the latest FFX update. Oh, yeah I'm trying to do this in  :ffvstr:

Anyone willing to help me find what I need to do?

I'm pretty sure I asked about this before. Should be an answer in this forum.

EDIT: Answer should be in this thread:

The Magnetic Throw and Pull and Magnetize were updated for FFX 3.2.1 with the code I posted in Podmark's thread, so those should work with any characters that have 'metal', 'adamantium', or 'super_alloy' in their subtype. You can make Wolvie with the Flesh Material Type and then add 'adamantium' to his subtype. He'll be affected by the above swaps, and the Magnetic Attribute, and an enemy with the Absorb Materials Attrib will turn into 'adamantium' when absorbing Wolvie's material.
