Title: Is the Strangers MIMIC attribute possible in FFX 3?
Post by: lmalonsof on April 21, 2008, 12:53:13 AM
I am playing The Strangers and I'm wondering if the 'mimic' attribute could be exported to ffx3.2... Is it possible? How? thx!

(I split the topic, since it doesn't really have anything to do with the DRIVER or derivative attributes.)

I suspect that MIMIC is possible in 3.2, since some of the code is still there. Someone else probably knows why it's not there now and what replaced it.

I think Mimic is now a swap in FFX 3.x.

What's a swap?

For what I've read, it seems possible to make it work. What do I have to do?

Yes, it's a state swap.

A state swap is how you get new power effects to work.  Take a regular one like hypnotize, than go into the FFXEdit and Swap out hypnotize for mimic.

Please consult the manual for more details.
