and now I can't open a save from the main FF campaign or start a new one.
I opened the FFEdit, just to take a look at it. As I hit one of the tabs I got some message about something campaign or other now being the default (I think - this was a few days ago). Now when I try to launch anything from the main FF campaign I get the following error box:
alert: CCampaignImp::getNextCampaignMissionDef(), invalid campaign mission index
The mod I am currently playing (the Strangers) seems unaffected.
What did I do and how do I fix it? :(
lol, yuan. YOu're like taking me back to a few years ago when these questions were all over the board. What you did was open the campaign tab in FFedit in FF1 and created an empty campdef.dat file. All you need to do, iirc, is erase the campdef.dat file in your FF folder and you'll be golden.

Thanks to Prev the original campaign is working again. But MM does not have his stick thingie. According to the Yuanling, this problem predates the above problem, but is probably also something I did . . .
