I recently installed a few fx with no problems, I then got cocky and decided to install some sounds for the fx, thats when I lost all my cockiness. My problem is this, after placing the wave files in the data/sounds/powers folder and using ffedit to link sound to effect, I started the game and shock horror no sfx. I have since used the built in sfx and had no problems....but obviously I want to install my own sounds. I have tried merging sound dat's but to be honest I'm not sure if Ive done it correctly. Any help is good help even if I get a NOOB slagging.
check the sounds/voices forum as there's already a thread there dealing with fx and sounds. If you can't find it or still need help, then post back here.
