Title: EZ Hero v3.1 Question
Post by: Cyber Burn on July 11, 2008, 01:45:46 AM
I hope this is in the right place. Basically, I wanted to make hero files for my JSA skopes. I copied the character's stats from Benton Grey's DCUG mod, then gave the file a new name so I could save it. I then exited the game and tried to open the hero file with EZ Hero v3.1. However, an error message popped up saying that there was a "run time error or bad file name". This happened with all of the hero files I copied. Is this error a common occurence? Can you not copy stat's and apply to a different mesh? Any answer would be really helpful. Thanks.

Well I might suggest getting EZhero 3.2 as it fixed some errors. It's here:

Thanks Pod, I downloaded and installed the new version but still getting the "run-time error, bad file name error".

the error I get is

Component 'COMDLG32.OCX' or one of its dependencies not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid

I found this thread to help with my issue

Do you have FFX installed?

Thanks for the response Ares, but I just stopped copying the hero files from mods and pretty much stick with USAgents hero files now. That solved the problem. Thanks again.
