Title: Any Rush fans in the U.S. (or someplace where you get Comedy Central?)
Post by: GhostMachine on July 16, 2008, 10:31:35 AM
BIG HUGE McLARGE NEWS!!!

Rush is going to be on The Colbert Report tonight (11:30pm EST) and will playing "Tom Sawyer".

Why is it big news? Because its the first time they've performed on television in the U.S. since 1975!

(Other upcoming musical performances on the show: Nas on the 23rd, Toby Keith on the 28th, and Crosby, Stills and Nash on the 30th)

If you don't get Comedy Central, you'll probably be able to buy the show off iTunes, but I'm betting someone will have the performance up on Youtube within 24 hours.

SWEET RELISH!
I'll definitely have to download this.

Though the fact you mentioned Toby Keith in the same post disturbs me a little.

Why do they keep doing this? These are supposed to be late night fake news shows that are really talk shows, not late night talk shows that are really talk shows with musical guests. Though I did like REM's performance, and I LOVED Coldplay on Daily Show... but... I don't get it.
