Title: Custom Nightwing-style Mask
Post by: Lionheart on August 27, 2008, 08:50:04 PM
Here is a custom Nightwing-style mask I made for CoH:

If anyone is interested, I can zip it (with the directory structure) and upload it to one of my Yahoo groups.

Thanks to Electro for helping me identify the proper pigg file.

It substitutes for the Rounded Mask or Small Mask 2, depending on character model.

Hey! That's pretty awesome.

Are there any tutorials laying around for making costume pieces?

This is my first attempt at a mask, though I've done several chest emblems (see my addition to the screenshots thread; the horse substitutes for the horseshoe emblem).

Electro has done full costumes, head to toe. I'd kind of like to see him do a tutorial as well.  :)

One thing I did differently is that I have Photoshop, plus the DDS plugin, so I didn't have to use the converter tool he uses.

I'll put some notes together as well, but Electro has done a lot more than I have.

You go ahead and make the TuT if you want - I would actually rather you do it - Just PM me your Tutorial before you post it & i'll write you back some extra tips that are not included like how to add multiple colors to patterns & make them display correctly etc...

Figure Fan - My sister and her family is in town, so I haven't had time to do up my own tutorial. But check your PM for some preliminary stuff.
