Got the news yesterday, my back is screwed as bad as it was before. It seems the 2 discs that were fixed decided to herniate on the opposite side of where they were repaired. In one spot one of my vertebrae is literally rubbing against the other with nothing in between.
So it's surgery time again. No date so far, but my neurologist suspects it will be shortly before Xmas.
As much as I'm glad I know exactly what's wrong, I'm angered and annoyed that it happened again. I've finally just lost the weight I put on after surgery, I was about to go back to school, and I just had the most awesome summer I've had in almost a decade.
But what can ya do eh?
That sucks Vfall. I wish you a speedy recovery and that this is the last time you'll have to go through this.
Hang in there! And best of luck with the surgery.
Ouch. I wish you a smooth surgery and prompt recovery.
Hopefully everything will be well again after the surgery.
Wish you a speedy recovery.

Yeesh, hopefully they can get it right the second time around. Hopefully the surgeons had a relaxing summer too, cuz now its time for them to get...back to work
Good luck with the surgery!
But on the plus side: Drugs!
I'm sorry to hear about these further complications, Verfall. May you enjoy a healing surgery and a speedy recovery!

They should just remove your spine and replace it with a cybernetic one that increases your strength and reflexes. That'd be so cool.
Sorry to hear that Verf, but its good you had such a great summer! Here's hoping for a quick and thorough recovery for you.
I'm really sorry to hear that. Back problems are just about the most painful kind of problems, huh? I'll keep you in the thoughts/prayers!
