The smaller antrider on the right of the pic shows the size relative to his 'fully grown' ie normal size, the lefthand antrider is simply so you can see a bit of detail on the ant.
Obviously it's much, much too big, but an actual ant sized and and rider would be effectively invisible, so he is the size he is, to give you some chance of actually finding him in-game.
