As it says.

EDIT: My 500th post, and it's legitimate!

i know 0.96 did not work.  Can anyone varify .097. thanx

detourne_me

0.96 totally worked,  how could you say that?
its what i've been doing all my skoping on for at least the past month.

I gotta go with cripp12 on this one.
I could never get it to run without telling me there was an error and I needed to reinstall.
I know I'm not the only one who who had that problem went back to 0.95...

But hey if it worked for you thats all that matters.

I'm gonna give 0.97 a try later tonight.
Unlike the last one which appeared to be primarily an bugfix release (how ironic) this claims to have some new texturing features added.... new tools with which to break things... awsome!

GogglesPizanno

OK I just tried 0.97 and it installed and worked fine for me...so apparently whatever issue that was causing problems for some of us in the last version has been fixed.

Podmark

0.96 worked fine for me too, I wonder why you guys had problems with it?

When I open a new window it crashes my computer. I'm going back to the classic.

Do you have SP2?

detourne_me

its working great for me Symon,  better than all previous versions....  im just getting used to the new order of operations after i right click something :)

tommyboy

Works fine for me.
I suggest people do what I do and have multiple installations of the different versions each in its own folder, wit its own shortcut. It makes life easier if you have a problem with any given version.

I don't know if anyone else has noticed this or used it yet, but theres a feature to EDIT the uvmapping. This is all sorts of awesome.

Revenant

Wait.. does that mean you can change the color of the resulting wiremaps... or can you do something more substantial?

(I hate the white/gray wiremaps, you always have to invert them in Photoshop..)

Alphanaut

Woot! Thanks for telling us that that option existed! I've been wanting this sort of thing for a while.

How?

Nitrishape Editable Mesh>right click>texture>edit UV

Does this mean you can remap a mesh, say if the way a particular mesh was mapped in the past means you can't use it even tho you really really want to? cos, y'know, for some people that would be really helpful... :)

Yeah I'm really impressed, and still narked that I can't texture a mesh with these versions of Nifskope without a CTD after about 5 minutes.
