Almost forgot, I'm still looking for something to use for Wotan.  While flipping through Tommy's site, I figured his Baron Mordo would work perfectly, but we need a skin of that distinctive green face.

I have seen a Mr. Atom mesh that is almost the correct shape for classic Chemo. I just don't remember where...

Ahh, I remember seeing that mesh somewhere, that would work fine.  Still......the question continues...is there a skin out there somewhere?

I've checked TAP43's yahoo group, but there is no Wotan skin, and according to my searches he doesn't have more than one group.  Any other leads?

I have a Wotan hex and skin I did, if you want I can send it to you or if more people are intrested then I can add it to my yahoo group.
I was planning on remaking the hex using nifskope to make the file smaller, if you can wait I still will make a smaller file nifskoped mesh.



I also did a Chemo a few years ago, Renegade had shown some intrest in making a mesh for him back then but I haven't heard if he is still thinking of making one. I just was never happy with the shape of any meshes I could find. Plus I thought Gren's Sentinal mesh had the best animations for the character. Maybe some other mesher might be want to make a mesh in the shape of Chemo the same size as Grens sentinals and nifskope it onto the sentinal mesh. But if you really want it anyway I guess I can release it.

Two very awesome skins TAP, and I DEFINITELY want them both!  I think all those who have to download my mod would probably appreciate anything that would shrink the size of it a bit, though. ;)  I'll tell you what, if you'll go ahead and send them both to me, I can add them in (since I'll have the meshes and kf's for reference), then if you remake the smaller version of Wotan, I'll replace it later on.  That Wotan looks really awesome......so evil looking!  Thanks man!

So.....we've determined who three on the left are, but who are the other three, eh?

Well, apparently the guy in the environmental suit is a non-named villain whom I haven't figured much out about yet.  An ex astronaught who turned to crime...I don't know, don't ask me!  He sounds rather too bland, but we'll see.  I'm gonna' try and get my hands on the first two Atom archives.

The fellow in the lab coat is actually the Floronic Man before he went plant...we don't need him as we have his leafy form already. 

However, this guy on the end is pure comic GOLD!  He's the Man in the Ion Mask!  Haha, I kid you not.  He'll need a new name as well, but his look is just too awesome to pass up.  It's like Destro in his pajamas!  Apparently he appeared in The Atom #25.  If anyone happens to have that issue, I'd really appreciate a synopsis.  So, I don't know what his powers are, but I know that I really want to use him for something, and the wheels are already turning.  If anyone would be willing to take him on, let me know.

Chemo looks fantastic. The reflections just WORK! I wouldn't have thought of that.

Did you notice that the old guy without the hat looks like Stan Lee?

Just another piece of random stuff, someone suggested Blue Devil for a mission, and I realized I didn't have him.  I found a great looking skin and hex, but I need the kf's for Helstorm by Fusion.

Alright guys, I'm HOPING to finish a releasable version of the mod up this weekend, we'll have to see, but that's my goal.  If not this weekend, I should be able to finish it pretty easily by next weekend.  Either way, here are the things I'm still looking for:

Alright, I've searched through all of Fusion's yahoo groups, and just can't find the hellstorm mesh.  Blue Devil is the last character that I'd really like to get added, but I don't have any kf's that seem compatible with the hex he's on.  I'm open to suggestions if the Hellstorm mesh is no longer around.

I'm not entirely sure that this belongs here, but if it doesn't, just let me know and I'll post elsewhere.  I'm finishing up the DCUG, and I'm starting to think of a few aesthetic things, like the main menu screen.  Does anyone have a great group shot of the DCU from the Silver Age, or perhaps just after the Crisis?  I'm looking for something that won't have characters I'm not including, like Nightwing, etc.  I'm looking for something like this:

But as much as I love Alex Ross, his work is too distinctive to be completely representative...or at least, that's what I think.

:EDIT: I have found a really beautiful image of the cover Alex Ross did for the Crisis on Infinite Earths......and even though my DCU doesn't HAVE multiple earths, it does contain a really beautiful cross-section of characters, most of whom (other than the Legion) I've included.  I suppose that if no-one can think of anything better during the next week, I'll just use this.  After all, what I'm doing IS a Crisis of sorts, synthesizing half a century of comics into a singular whole...poorly or not.

I could really use some help with the whole background thing...I'm sorta' stuck.  If anyone feels like helping me out with this, let me know.  I've got some images, but the editing of them is giving me fits, and I don't really have time to mess with it.

On a more productive note, I am beefing up the Bug Eyed Bandit's minions list, and I was wondering if anyone knew of some giant insect meshes.  You know, car or person size, that kind of thing.  If so, let me know!

Unfortunately, the only bug meshes that I know of are the "ant_worker" and "ant_soldier" ones from irrational.

On a purely aesthetic note, would anyone mind hexing the Etrigan mesh down to Kirby's original proportions?  Something along the lines of his appearance in JLU, shorter than a man, would be appropriate.

The Freedom Force V&V group has R.A.M. on a VERY pretty giant spider mesh. The skins that come with it are metallic/robotic, so you would need another.


I'm not so sure Etrigan was shorter than a man; I think he just hunched over, so that his eye level was generally lower an a "normal" man's.

Then again, I haven't read those stories since they originally came out...

Thanks Daglob!  I think that Etrigan is a little smaller than the average hero, although probably not by a great margin.  Either way, the size of the mesh I'm using is significantly BIGGER than male_basic, so that could use some attention.

Which Etrigan mesh are you using?  There's a TM_Etrigan on FXForce that doesn't look to be bigger than male_basic, although he doesn't have the ear-wing things.




Edit:  Addendum:  I *knew* I had seen a Wotan skin somewhere.  There's one on Niech's Yahoo Group.  It might be a workable placeholder until you get Tap's sweet mesh.

The readme is a little unclear, but I believe it is Ink's mesh.  I actually just downloaded the TM hex, and I may go with that, but I rather like the skin on the Ink one.

Ohh, and TAP was kind enough to email me his Wotan skope!
