Problem with Origin videos

I just got Freedom Force vs. the Third Reich and I'm getting a rather odd problem with the origin videos...

The voices just don't match the pictures... The video is accelerated. For example, if I turn the Origin captions on, they go so fast I can't even read them.

Is there anything I can do to solve this?

Thanks for the help.

EDIT: Ok, after testing a few times, I found out that the video doesn't always run faster then the sound... Sometimes it runs slower.

*sighs*

I know this isn't a big issue, but it's driving me insane.

Hmm, that's odd. I know how those videos work and there shouldn't be any way for them to run faster or slower. There are two things I suggest,

1) download the latest video drivers
2) send one of the troublesome video files to me (at lunarman_dod@yahoo.com)

I'm presuming you're kinda new at this so this is how you do it.
First you go C:\Program Files\Irrational Games\Freedom Force Vs The 3rd Reich\Data you should see a lot of big files called .ff files. Simply rename the file extension to .zip and extract the art.ff like you would a normal zip file. You should then be able to go to
C:\Program Files\Irrational Games\Freedom Force Vs The 3rd Reich\Data\art\library\cut_scenes and find the CS folder (it's named after the characters) for an origin file you know is messed up. I can take a look at it and see if it's different on my machine.

Sadly I doubt that it will be, but we've got eliminate it.

Good luck

Thanks for the reply.

Well, I now know it has nothing to do with the files. And that's because the videos have worked correctly the last time I played.

My drivers are up to date too, so that can't be it either. So, I figure it's just one of the oddities my computer has managed to pull lately... Quite often, unfortunatelly for me.

I guess I just have to format my HDD as soon as possible. Or get a new laptop.

Ok that's weird. I'm sorry I couldn't help
