yuh. G-force/Battle of the planets used to play here 13 or so years back. In fact, I think it was part of Cartoon Network's Toonami block for a short amount of time as I remember it coming on before Tenchi Muyo and Gundam.

Probably because it is being toned down on both ends.  Supes is not as strong, Bats doesn't kill, and on the MK side, it won't be as violence.  I don't think you will see Scorpion ripping off Superman's head in a finishing move.

I wish it was Marvel vs. Mortal Kombat, personally.

Thor vs. Raiden, Kung Lao vs. Captain America, Iceman vs. Sub-Zero, Elektra vs. Kitana... These would all be interesting fights.

If they want a DC crossover, they should try DC Universe vs. Dragon Ball Z or something. Like, Martian Manhunter vs. Piccolo or Superman vs. Goku...

I agree, Wolverine, Deadpool, and many marvel villains would work so well for MK.

And as for the second, I wish they'd make a DC game using the Budokai style/engine.

really REALLY hate to admit it, but he looks pretty good. 

the game concept still sticks in my craw though.  Will wait to see what happens in release.

If anybody is wondering why the Flash looks a tad different, each character will have a "light" & "dark" type costume.

I read an interview with Boon and apparently Fatalities are in. All DCU villains will have them along with the MK characters. Heroic DCU characters will have Finishers akin to "Brutalities" where they basically just beat people to death.

I would love it if the super heroes "brutalities" involved CAPTURING the opponent, like superman wrapping a steel bar around Sub Zero or Wonder Woman hog tying Kitanna (mmm...) but if it's just going to be watching Batman knock somebodies teeth into their lugs or watch Superman punch an opponent into the sun well it's still pretty much a fatality.

You know Lug, that's a really great idea...I wonder why it didn't occur to the actual game makers...... :P

I think I might have changed my mind about this game. I'll wait until I see more. Even though I don't like Mortal Kombat, this may be the only half-decent DC video-game I will ever get to play. Certainly, it won't make sense, and of course, I'll be ticked that JLA members are killing people, but... It's FLASH, and he's FIGHTING!

i think thats a screenkap from their new klose kombat fighting system, maybe you will be able to do a lot of bloks or maybe if you get in klose you kould even karate khop someone.

It's seems our caped crusader got his costume a little ruined in that pic. Clothes that break up ? Good , it strengthen  the brutal feel.
