I took some of C6's skins from his original AbsorbingMan 10Pack and changed them to make some new materials that are part of the new Material Absorber Attribute in FFX3.2. All I did was play around with the colors so 90% of the work is still C6's and I appreciate C6 giving me permission to do this. This is my fist foray in to skinning (not much of a foray, just barely scratching the surface really) so I hope they're not to bad. This could also be considered a request for a more talented skinner to step up to the plate and maybe re-do them. They'll be released around the same time as the Final Release of FFX 3.2 (...getting very close. No, really! ^_^) and will be available at Catwhowalksbyhimself's FreedomForceForever site.

Starting from top left: Acid, Diamond, Electricity, Energy, Frozen, Kryptonite, Radiation, Rubber, Sand and Sound.

I think they look great.  Thanks Taskmaster X and C6.

These are all TMX's ideas...I just gave him the ok to mod my skins.

Which turned out very well!

I can't wait til these are released. They look great and will really compliment C6's skins.

I think Absorbing Man is going to be my favorite character in the Rumble Room very soon.

Well, luckily I discovered this before they're actually released...

The pic of the Absorbing Man Diamond skin was taken in the Character Tool2, and it shows the reflection there correctly, but when I play him in-game, the reflection is not there at all. What is it I'm missing?
Thanks for any help.

IIRC, FFvTTR uses the "FILENAME_gloss.tga" file-naming paradigm as opposed to FF1's "FILENAME_refl.tga" paradigm.  I am assuming that the decision to make this change was to more logically mirror the material map settings in 3ds max, which uses the Gloss map and not a Reflection map for its settings, IIRC.  My memory may not be entirely accurate, however, so I would appreciate it if someone else could verify this information.

Of course, you may already know this, and this might not be the source of your problem.

No, I didn't know that.
I changed the filename but that didn't work and actually prevented the skin from showing correctly in CT2, so that can't be it, but thanks for the tip, ow. ^_^
