Problem with Crisis Mod

 i´m on the secret war mission..

[spoiler]i defead manhunters, sinestro and major Force.. but nothing happens...
it´s a bug?[/spoiler]

Check around to see if there is a manhunter hiding somewhere still on the screen somewhere, I had this problem on a couple missions where I had to find a villain that wasnt doing anything

sorry for the delayed reply, havent been on as much as of late.

Anyway, i replayed that mission and it seems to work fine for me. Try USA's suggestion and if that doesnt work, a post of your logs will help me help you. :P

Is this mod compatible with FFX 3.2 or do I need version 3.1 in order to play it?

I was playing this mod just now and I couldn't help but notice that most player controlled characters have a weight of zero, making them awfully suscetible to knockback. Is this intentional or there's something wrong?

You actually don't need FFX at all.  No mods have access to any of FFX's files if installed separately.  You can ignore the statement that you have to download it.  You don't.

Heya guts, as cat has said, you don't need ffx installed to actually play the mod since it has its own version installed. But, you'll need ezfx to make sure all the fx work.

The playable characters having a weight of zero is thanks to ffedit, though i remember spending a good amount of time going through each entry and adding weights. That was probably one of the things lost in the comp crash that I didn't exactly feel like going back and fixing. I'll probably add it to my patch list and fix it when I have time and the inspiration.

P.S. side note...mods can still access things in the ffx folder so that line isnt exactly true.

Unless there's some hack that you've figured out a way to add that I'm not aware of, then no, they can't.

Well, let me take that partially back.  I think it is possible to set it up so it loads .py files from other folders, but I know it's not possible to load meshes and skins that way.

Although I have been meaning to change things so that the meshes that FFX requires are in the .dat folder and don't need to be included with every mod.  If the demand is there, I'll see about having that done for the final FFX 3.2 release.  That would make FFX mods a bit smaller.

 I´m new here so hi everybody. I have two questions :
When i play the crisis campaing in  :ffvstr: only appears the base map without characters and with a red ligth in th left corner of my screen. How can i fix it ?
How can i play with the characters of crisis in  :ffvstr:?

I'm not sure what you're talking about, so can you explain to me what you did exactly? Although, I know for sure nothing red appears in the opening base map, so that's odd.

Like Ancient Spirit, I'm back.  I used to lurk heavily and played all the FF mods I could find.  I've been away and the Crisis mod tempted me back.  I'm enjoying the way this one mixes and matches like the Great Hunt from FF.

I'm recovering Infinity Gems and fight Silver Samurai and the Power Ring evil lantern (don't know which version he is.)

[spoiler]They go down, thanks to Power Girl (Supergirl) and Doc Strange combo.  But now I'm fighting Thanos.  He drops down to 250 points, but then takes damage and never drops below.  I can't find a custom command to do with the gems and I can't hurt him.  I can see points of damage unfurl (that Supergirl charge is cool!) but he never drops down. What could I be doing wrong?  Am I (the player) supposed to do something different?[/spoiler]

That's one of the missions you have to lose (if I'm remembering correctly), so just let your team get ko'ed off. I thought I changed that mission up a bit, but that might be in my version only. :S

So yeah, let Thanos beat you and next mission (London, I believe) allow darkseid to beat you to advance the story.

Hey!  That was fun.  I enjoyed the mix and match quality.  It reminded me of the Great Hunt.
