Anybody else watch this show? If you don't, I highly recommend it. I find it has an interesting and driving plot, an equally interesting romantic situation, and the drama is broken up nicely by the narrator, Joey Ice Cream. Not to mention the shots are beautiful, but that's another thing. So what does every/anybody else thing about it?

I think it made me miss Heroes a couple weeks ago.

The Hitman

While I'm not much into drama television shows, I really enjoy this one, and watch it when I can.

Blasphemy!

You must repent!  Repent, I say!

That doesn't mean I elected to watch it over Heroes. It means my local station put this dumb show in the Monday time slot without announcing that fact in advance.

Yeah, I thought it was supposed to be after heroes.

In that case, you are forgiven and your local station is hereby declared to be the great evil.

woah?? whats this show about?  the Black Donnelly's were a famous family of thieves and murderers from a small town not far from mine in Ontario Canada!

the father or uncle was a dwarf, and he was famous for escaping from jail.
eventually the townsfolk had rallied against them and burned their house down or something.

There are some good actors on it, including Kate Mulgrew (Captain Janeway).

It's an Irish Sopranos toned down for Network television (no cursing and they imply the violence. Heck it's even written by writers from the Sopranos).  It's a quality show but I don't know how long they can drag the relationship "are they or aren't they" thing.

The show's based around this one Irish-American family in Hell's Kitchen and the problems that arise when one of the brothers decides to kidnap an italian bookie and one good brother has to set everything straight. Paul Haggis did base the name of the series/family on that of the famous 19th century family of thieves from Ontario.

Personally, I found the media blitz, and endless commercials turned me off of this show. I was sick of it before it even aired.

I enjoyed it a lot - seeing the slow, reluctant change Tommy was making from the good guy brother to a force to be reckoned with on the streets.

Unfortunately, shows really aren't given much of a chance these days - it's already cancelled.
