i have this Problem...

i have that Shazam_area FX from MikeB7

the FX work but there is no sound :(

i did what the instruction told me to do

are you installing this in ff1 or ffvttr?

If for ffvttr, it's harder to install sounds and I can't remember the steps at the moment.

this is what i did to get custom sounds

1. open up ffedit
2. create a new fx, find nif and give it a name. example: dark poo blast
3. go on sounds
4. create new sounds
5. find that custom sound
6. name it fx_dark_poo_blast_1
7. creates new sounds
8. find a custom sounds
9. name it fx_dark_poo_blast_2
and then save

thats what i did to get sounds and it works
the 1 and 2 sounds will give your fx an edge

like all the fx have 1 or 2 maybe 3

anyway, that's how it's done in ff1. If I recall, the steps are changed a bit in ffvttr. The 1, 2, 3 tell a sound when to play (IE: responds to the nifs).
