Possible to fix broken animations in Val's Warpath tank mesh?

The tank mesh that comes with Val's Warpath autobot mesh seems to have broken animations.  They work fine in the Character Viewer and when setting up a character in the game (FF1), but when I'm actually using them in the game, the animations don't get triggered.  For instance, the tank is supposed to fall over on it's side when knocked out and it has a "back up and run you down" animation for melee attacks.  But in the game, it just sits there when knocked out, and when it does a melee attack, it moves up until it's sitting right on top of the target (as if it had no bounding box or something) and does the attack without any animation.

I PM's Val about it and he said he vaguely remembers some sort of problem, but he no longer has the MAX files to check it out. 

I was wondering if any of you nifskope hackers might be willing to take a look at it and see if it's something that could be fixed by hexing.

NPI is down right now, but I can e-mail the mesh to anyone interested in giving it a try.

(I'm also still interested in my earlier request to see if someone could fix the lights on Beyonder's Thor Head .nif).
