changing or removing animations with nifskope?

I've spent about 4 hours trying to remove part of an animation from a keyframe set to no avail. I'm hoping its actually possible and someone know how to do it.

just to clarify I am NOT trying to:
remove a contact..ie make a 7 contact anim a 6 contact
remove the entire animation, contacts and all

What I'm trying to do is take a 7 contact animations that has 5 hand contacts and 2 kicks and get rid of the 2 kicks, so the animation visually shows only the 5 hand animations then goes to melee_idle. It's Ironfist_69's atemi style melee_11.

Has anyone had any success doing this? I know how to loop/cycle animations and whatnot but whatever I do the 2 kicks wont go away =(
